•75+ Per Assignment About the Role Shutter Zone Media is expanding into the Janesville market, and we're looking for a professional Real Estate Photographer / Media Specialist to become a key part of our growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced photographer, videographer, real estate photographer, architectural photographer, or visual media professional who enjoys working independently, meeting clients, traveling to properties, and creating high-quality visual content. Real estate experience is a strong plus, but professional photography, videography, architectural, commercial, or event media experience is also welcome. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship with someone who can become a primary media specialist in the Janesville area , rather than simply providing occasional freelance assignments. What You'll Do Photograph residential and commercial properties Capture professional interior and exterior photography Follow standardized real estate photography shot lists and company standards Create property videos and walkthroughs Capture drone photography/video when qualified Complete floor plans, Matterport/3D tours, twilight photography, and specialty services as trained Communicate professionally with real estate agents and homeowners Upload and deliver media according to company standards Maintain professional equipment and ensure quality and accuracy on every assignment Represent Shutter Zone Media professionally at every appointment

Schedule & Location Primary Market:

Janesville, WI and surrounding areas.

Hiring Radius:

Approximately 15-20 miles Janesville. Approximately 20-30 hours of availability per week Primarily Monday-Friday Daytime availability, generally 9 AM through dusk Occasional weekend assignments may be available Reliable transportation required Must be comfortable driving between properties Schedule and assignment volume can fluctuate based on weather, season, market demand, and client needs

Important:

This is a project-based contractor position, so weekly assignment volume is not guaranteed. Candidates must have meaningful weekday daytime availability. Compensation 1099 Contractor | Project-Based Compensation Paid onboarding and training are provided. During the initial 90-day period:

Mileage reimbursement may be available for assignments outside the standard service area. Equipment Requirements This is a contractor position. Equipment is not provided.

Candidates should have:

Professional interchangeable-lens camera Wide-angle lens suitable for interior photography Tripod Computer capable of managing and uploading large media files Reliable internet Spare batteries and memory cards Lighting, flash, gimbal/stabilization equipment, and professional video equipment are strongly preferred. FAA Part 107 certification is strongly preferred. Candidates without certification must be willing to obtain it if they want to perform paid drone assignments.
