Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Podcast Producer/Engineer to lead the creation, production, and technical execution of engaging podcast content. Responsibilities Oversee all phases of podcast production within our workflow Operate recording studio equipment, including microphones, audio interfaces, soundboards, cameras, software, and workstations (DAWs). Manage live switching and engineering during recording sessions or live events, ensuring optimal audio/video quality. Conduct sound design and audio mixing to enhance storytelling and listener engagement. Troubleshoot technical issues with recording and playback equipment swiftly to minimize disruptions. Some editing proficiency a plus Coordinate with hosts, guests, and team members to schedule recordings and ensure smooth production workflows. Capture behind-the-scenes footage or videography content to supplement podcast episodes when needed. Ensure all content aligns with branding guidelines while adhering to technical specifications for various distribution channels. Skills Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid, Dropbox, or similar video editing software. Strong knowledge of digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools or Logic Pro for editing and mixing audio tracks. Experience operating recording studio equipment, including microphones, audio mixers, cameras, and live switching Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues related to podcast systems and live event AV setups. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of videography techniques including filming and content creation for multimedia integration. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and external partners.
