Creative Studio Intern (Production & Operations) Bubba's LABurbank, CAPart-Time | Paid Internship | In-Person Bubba's LA is a creative studio specializing in animation, motion design, live-action production, VFX, and emerging creative technologies. We're looking for curious, motivated interns who want hands-on experience producing commercial work from concept through final delivery. This isn't a coffee-running internship; you'll work alongside artists, producers, and creative directors while learning how professional productions actually come together. Our goal is to give every intern meaningful real-world experience, professional mentorship, and the confidence to take the next step in their creative career. This is an in-person Fall 2026 internship based in our Burbank studio. Interns may work up to 24 hours per week. Please note that housing and relocation assistance are not provided. What You'll Learn During your internship, you'll gain exposure to the complete creative production pipeline, including: Creative development and brainstorming Commercial production workflows Animation and motion design Client presentations and creative reviews Studio operations and production management Emerging creative technologies, including AI-assisted workflows You'll see firsthand how ideas evolve from an initial concept into finished work delivered to clients.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Shadow producers and project managers to learn how commercial creative projects are planned and executed Assist with project organization, schedules, references, and production materials Conduct creative and production research for current and upcoming projects Collaborate on brainstorming sessions for client work, marketing initiatives, social content, and internal studio projects Help maintain organized project files and digital assets Assist with website updates and studio-facing materials Observe and learn from professional artists working across animation, motion graphics, design, editorial, VFX, and live action Gain exposure to emerging creative technologies, including generative AI, automation, and workflow optimization, and see how they fit into real-world animation and commercial production. Support day-to-day studio operations and administrative tasks that help productions run smoothly; no two days are the same As the internship progresses, take ownership of small projects and initiatives with guidance from the team Software & Tools You'll Be Exposed To Depending on active projects, interns may gain experience with tools including: Adobe Creative Cloud Google Workspace Frame.io Production tracking and collaboration software AI-assisted creative tools and workflow automation platforms Previous experience with these tools is helpful but not required .
