Job Description
As Operations/Production Manager, you will work directly with the CEO to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. You will be responsible for keeping production running smoothly, coordinating priorities across departments, improving operational processes, and ensuring the company consistently delivers high-quality products on time. This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-growing manufacturing company. One moment you may be reviewing production schedules or negotiating with suppliers; the next you may be helping solve a manufacturing issue on the production floor. - Oversee daily manufacturing and production operations.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, suppliers, and production planning.
- Improve manufacturing workflows and operational processes.
- Coordinate priorities between engineering, production, sales, and the CEO.
- Track KPIs and provide regular operational reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a small production team.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost control.
- Ensure new product launches transition smoothly from engineering into production.
- Assist the CEO with operational planning and company growth initiatives.
- Pitch in wherever needed—this is a small company where everyone contributes. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or production management.
- Experience working in a small company or startup where adaptability and initiative are essential.
- Proven ability to build processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead small teams while remaining hands-on when needed.
- Experience managing vendors, purchasing, inventory, and production schedules.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or professional audio.
- Familiarity with PCB assembly, SMT manufacturing, and electronics production.
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting new product introductions from engineering through production.
