Responsibilities include planning, material procurement and management, assembly, vendor management, test, receiving/shipping, and inspection. The Production Manager also plays a role in the development and implementation of new departmental procedures/systems as well as the evaluation and improvement of existing procedures/systems. Software systems that the Production Manager may be required to use PLM, ERP, and common office software. Responsibilities Production staff management Vendor selection and management Planning and Purchasing of production materials Production planning Device History Record generation Process improvements Participation in and/or preparation of materials for Management Review Process quality systems documentation as well as analyzing and assisting in the improvement of existing departmental operating procedures and instructions to ensure compliance to international regulatory requirements. Specific Competencies/Skills Desired Expertise in PLM and ERP software Master Production Schedule experience Familiarity with electronics manufacturing preferred Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint Professional Characteristics Dedication to the company's mission while maintaining a positive, upbeat attitude Self-directed with good time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and works well with others Exceptional organizational skills with reliability and consistency in work performance Detail oriented Ability to work with minimal to no supervision Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor and appearance at all time Ability to work with a diverse staff and excel in a multi-cultural environment Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree preferred 3 - 10 years of manufacturing work experience Proven management experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English Physical Abilities Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds. Ability to sit and stand for a long duration of time. Ability to stand, stoop and bend periodically. Ability to perform routine, repetitive-motioned activities.
