Job Description

Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling to join our team in Windsor, CT. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with business goals and customer demands. Coordinate with various departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations. Work with customers to meet customer on time delivery expectations Coordinate closely with Operations and Engineering to ensure overall achievement of production plan. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation. Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements. Develop tools and process to mature the planning function Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process. Prepare and present reports on production metrics to senior management.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range:
$60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated aerospace program-management capability. NE-XT offers a competitive employee benefits package. Benefit eligibility and specific plan terms are subject to applicable company plans and policies.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries. Experience with Epicor Manufacturing a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Familiarity with ISO or other quality management system standards.
