This role is responsible for overseeing production, purchasing, inventory, and pre-installation quality control, ensuring every project is manufactured accurately, fully complete, and ready for installation before it leaves the warehouse. We're looking for a hands-on leader with 10+ years of experience managing production, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, closets, or woodworking is preferred, but candidates from other manufacturing industries with strong leadership and Lean experience are encouraged to apply. What You'll Lead Production & Manufacturing Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including CNC machining, panel processing, edgebanding, and assembly preparation Lead Production Supervisors and shop personnel Improve productivity, scheduling, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency Pre-Installation Quality Control Ensure every project is fully inspected before leaving the warehouse Verify material completeness and job readiness prior to installation Develop and maintain detailed quality control procedures Procurement & Inventory Coordinate purchasing through an existing remote procurement specialist Forecast material requirements and prevent shortages Improve vendor performance and on-time deliveries Maintain accurate inventory and an organized warehouse Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Kanban, and visual management Partner with our Continuous Improvement Consultant to streamline operations Reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase production capacity What Success Looks Like 95-99% installation-ready projects leaving the warehouse Higher production throughput and on-time completion Fewer manufacturing errors and callbacks Accurate inventory and organized warehouse operations Continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes Required Qualifications 10+ years of leadership experience in production, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain Experience managing production or warehouse teams Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to coordinate both onsite and remote team members Compensation & Benefits $80,000 base salary Performance bonuses with total annual compensation up to $110,000 Paid Time Off (PTO)
