Our PodPopuli studio in downtown Boca Raton provides professional podcast recording and production services for business owners, entrepreneurs, authors, coaches, organizations, and brands throughout South Florida. We are looking for a dependable, technically skilled Podcast Producer / Studio Engineer to join our growing team. About the Position This is a hands-on studio production role responsible for operating and maintaining the studio during recording sessions and ensuring clients have a professional, seamless experience. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in audio and video production, is comfortable operating professional production equipment, pays close attention to detail, and can troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly. Responsibilities Set up and break down the podcast studio for recording sessions Operate cameras, microphones, lighting, audio equipment, and production systems Monitor audio and video quality throughout recording sessions Manage recording sessions and keep clients on schedule Greet clients and guests and provide a professional, welcoming experience Troubleshoot audio, video, computer, and equipment issues as they arise Transfer, back up, and organize recorded media files Follow established file naming and folder organization systems Edit short-form video clips for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Assist with full-length podcast video and audio editing Keep the studio clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next session Assist with other podcast, video, and media production projects as needed Qualifications Experience with podcasting, audio production, video production, broadcasting, or a related field preferred Working knowledge of cameras, microphones, lighting, audio levels, and video production Comfortable operating computers and learning new production software and equipment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively Professional and comfortable working directly with clients and guests Able to troubleshoot technical issues and think on your feet Comfortable lifting and moving production equipment Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as the company grows Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Sony cameras RØDE microphones and RØDECaster equipment vMix Riverside Zoom Video editing software Short-form vertical video editing Dropbox Monday.com Podcast production or studio operations A portfolio, demo reel, or examples of video/audio work are welcome but not required. Schedule This is a part-time, in-person position requiring approximately 15-25 hours per week . Availability must include weekday shifts and evenings. The studio currently operates until 7:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays , with additional evening hours expected as the company grows. Occasional weekend recording sessions may also be required.
