Job Description
We are seeking an experienced TV Producer to join the production team of a fast-paced studio-based television show focused on sports betting, sports analysis, and wagering culture. The ideal candidate has a strong background in television production, is comfortable working in a studio environment, and knows how to collaborate with on-camera talent to create engaging, timely, and entertaining programming. A strong understanding of sports betting, odds, lines, markets, and the sports wagering landscape is essential. Responsibilities
Produce studio-based television segments from pre-production through final execution.
Collaborate with hosts, analysts, betting experts, and other on-camera talent to develop compelling segments and storylines.
Work closely with the director and production team during studio rehearsals and tapings.
Prepare rundowns, scripts, segment outlines, talking points, and other production materials.
Research current sports stories, betting trends, odds, lines, injuries, statistics, and relevant wagering news.
Identify timely betting angles and develop them into engaging television segments.
Help guide talent through interviews, discussions, analysis, and live or taped segments.
Coordinate with graphics, editorial, control room, and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely information is reflected on screen.
Monitor breaking sports news and changes in betting markets that may impact the show's content.
Assist with segment timing, show flow, transitions, and last-minute editorial changes.
Participate in editorial meetings and contribute story and segment ideas.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced studio environment where priorities can change quickly.
Maintain accuracy when handling betting information, statistics, odds, and other time-sensitive content.
Coordinate with production staff and external contributors as needed.
Support live or near-live programming, including making real-time editorial decisions and adjustments.
Qualifications
3+ years of television production experience, preferably in a studio, live, or control-room environment.
Proven experience working directly with on-camera talent, hosts, analysts, or experts.
Strong understanding of television production workflows, including rundowns, scripts, rehearsals, studio shoots, and live/taped segments.
Demonstrated knowledge of sports betting and wagering, including odds, spreads, moneylines, totals, props, parlays, futures, and betting markets.
Genuine interest in sports and the rapidly evolving sports betting industry.
Strong research, writing, and editorial skills.
Ability to quickly digest statistics, betting information, and breaking news and turn them into compelling television content.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with numbers, odds, statistics, and time-sensitive information.
Familiarity with production tools and workflows such as rundown systems, teleprompter, control room operations, graphics, and editing platforms.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and during major sporting events when necessary.
