is recruiting an experienced Precast Concrete Production Manager / Plant Manager for a confidential client's manufacturing operation in Winder, Georgia . We are seeking a strong, hands-on manufacturing leader who can take ownership of production performance, establish disciplined and repeatable production processes, improve productivity and quality, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and develop a high-performing production team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience managing precast concrete manufacturing operations and a demonstrated ability to improve production output, equipment utilization, product quality, and overall manufacturing performance. This position requires an operational leader who is comfortable working directly on the production floor while also establishing the systems, standards, accountability, and production discipline necessary to support continued growth. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day precast concrete manufacturing operations. Establish consistent production schedules, operating standards, and production discipline. Plan and allocate labor, equipment, materials, and production areas. Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks. Increase production output and improve manufacturing efficiency. Improve equipment and production-capacity utilization. Standardize production processes and operating procedures. Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Establish and maintain strong quality-control processes. Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions. Reduce defects, rework, and production losses. Oversee the key stages of precast production, including: Form preparation Reinforcement placement Concrete batching and placement Curing Final product quality control Hire, develop, and lead supervisors, production personnel, and technical staff. Establish clear responsibilities, performance expectations, and accountability. Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Logistics, and other operational teams. Build scalable production systems capable of supporting future manufacturing growth. Required Qualifications Strong direct experience in precast concrete manufacturing . Previous leadership experience as a Precast Production Manager, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Precast Operations Manager, Director of Manufacturing , or similar. Hands-on knowledge of the complete precast concrete production cycle. Experience managing a precast production facility, major production department, or comparable manufacturing operation. Experience with production planning, resource allocation, and shift management. Demonstrated ability to improve production output, productivity, or capacity utilization. Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of quality control and root-cause problem solving. Proven ability to hire, develop, and lead production teams. Strong leadership, accountability, and hands-on management approach. English required. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience producing structural precast components such as: Columns Panels Beams Similar load-bearing structural components Experience improving an underperforming or developing manufacturing operation. Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, Construction, and Logistics. Spanish and/or Russian is a plus.
