Athens, Georgia Full Responsibilities:

Oversee and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity constraints, inventory levels, and resource availability. Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and components. Collaborate with operations, purchasing, engineering, and sales to maintain schedule alignment and clarity of specifications and expectations. Review planned orders, create purchase requisitions, manage the approval process, and maintain purchase orders through completion. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, and support consolidation and optimization of the supplier base. Report and address supplier non-conformances, and lead finance and logistics teams in resolving receiving and invoicing discrepancies. Oversee shipping and receiving operations, including logistical requirements and labeling accuracy. Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and accurate inventory of production materials, resolving shortages and excess deliveries. Conduct cost analyses, establish benchmarks, prepare budgets, and oversee departmental expenditures. Develop procedures for collecting and reporting key performance metrics, and identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Supervise direct reports, conduct performance evaluations, and support training and development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field. Preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in production control or similar manufacturing support. Required. Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising personnel. Required. Manufacturing industry experience. Required. Extensive ERP experience, ideally Infor Visual or another Infor product. Required. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, and formulas. Required. Aerospace manufacturing industry experience. Preferred. #ST101

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
