Assistant Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor Direct Hire | $55,000-$70,000
+ Overtime pay in addition to base pay
+ Bonus Potential Berne, IN | 2nd Shift, 2:20 PM- 10:50 PM, Monday-Friday
+ Overtime as Needed Pro Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, IN to hire an Assistant Production Manager. This is a direct hire leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the production floor, supporting teams, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing supervisor with experience in die casting, CNC machining, or assembly operations who is ready to grow into a larger leadership role. What You'll Do Supervise and support daily production operations on 2nd shift Lead and assign work to production associates to meet output and quality goals Train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and development Monitor production schedules, machine changeovers, and workflow efficiency Troubleshoot production issues and support maintenance when needed Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production environment What We're Looking For Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to lead teams and keep production running efficiently Mechanical or electrical knowledge preferred Experience in die casting, CNC machining, or manufacturing assembly highly preferred Familiarity with ISO 14001 or
IATF 16949
