A Producer plans and coordinates elements needed to create a film, television show, theater production, musical production or radio show. Works with writers, composers and artistic directors to develop ideas and scripts; oversees rehearsals or production schedule and budget; recruits financing to support production and marketing costs; negotiates distribution agreements. May also work on television or radio advertisements.
The Prefinish Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities and resources required for production needs of prefinished products on a timeline that is dictated by volume, and at a level of quality expected by our customers. The Production Manager collaborates closely with key functions across the Organization, including Project Management, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Sales. Additionally, the role is responsible for managing the production team while providing support to both internal and external Customers. Responsibilities Provides direction and daily production goals for Prefinish operations to meet volume requirements Works closely with Project Coordination and Scheduling department to align a throughput forecast with future inbound product sales Provides support to the Field Services Team for immediate "hot shot" Prefinish concerns Continuous process analysis and improvement for Prefinish operations Creates and reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, staffing and maintenance problems to prevent operational delays. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborates with the customer service and sales departments to identify and resolve quality concerns. Supervises production operations and staff, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, —while coaching and developing a high-performing team. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of Finishing experience or a trade-related field 2 years of Production Management High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication, time management and organization skills Leadership experience Preferred Qualifications Trade Certification or Education 3-5 years Finishing experience 3-5 years working in Production Management Lean Manufacturing experience
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
