JOB DESCRIPTION
ASSEMBLY
PRODUCTION MANAGER
  • RF CONNECTOR & CABLE ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • The successful candidate leads by example, has a track record of meeting production and quality goals, and demonstrates the people skills to empower and motivate an assembly team.
Responsibilities:
Manage both assembly teams: RF Connector assembly & RF Cable assembly Analyses work orders and develop production schedule to meet customer requirements Assign team members to process steps as required to meet manufacturing schedule and maximize productivity Mentor and train team members to ensure product quality and achieve employee certifications Assembly processes: manual & pneumatic presses, marking, packaging, coaxial cable cut & strip, crimp, clamp, soldering technologies: iron, resistive, inductive, dipping, heat shrink & strain relief
Electrical Test:
Hi-pot, Continuity, Network Analyzer (S11, S21, Phase, TDR) Utilize VNA/TDR analysis to trouble shoot VSWR, insertion loss and/or phase matching performance problems Collaborate with engineering to develop standard work and visual quality standards Coordinate material handling & packaging within the department Participate and lead Lean events; 5S, single piece flow, visual quality standards, etc. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior assembly management experience in the RF industry High School diploma or GED Candidate must be USA citizen or Permanent Resident Alien Knowledge of RF Connector assembly processes: manual and pneumatic presses and how these processes affect product quality Prior experience participating on Lean manufacturing teams Basic computer skills such as data entry and retrieval, MS Excel, Word, etc Blueprint and Op Sheet reading and comprehension Works with limited direction

Strong attention to detail and drive for results Good communication skills, not afraid to ask relevant questions or point out practices that negatively affect quality or efficiency Available to work overtime hours as requested
