This person will be organized and efficient as well as creative and forward-thinking. They will be able to shoot, edit, voice, and create video stories for the channel and for the web on their own as well as on a team. They will be on camera as needed. This person will stay on top of trends and best practices as well as oversee daily and long-term planning, execution, and management of city video initiatives. This is a full-time position, and the schedule is flexible and negotiable. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain schedule of story publication dates and assignments Organize meetings with city contacts from nine member cities to discuss and coordinate video initiatives Maintain positive working relationships with member cities Shoot, write, edit, and publish stories Ensure that all content meets company standards for integrity and production quality Assist with special projects and other duties as needed Fill in as host on Mayor's Minutes, Maple Grove Report, New Hope Update, or other programming as needed Requirements and Skills Bachelor's degree 3+ years' professional experience with managing or marketing online content Fluency in English Detail oriented with solid organizational skills Creative in problem solving with an attitude that evolves and changes with video storytelling trends Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for both broadcast and web Knowledge of AP style Experience with nonlinear editing (Final Cut X) Knowledge and/or experience with city government a plus Experience creating on-air graphics, animation a plus Valid driver's license with good driving record Benefits CCX Media offers a comprehensive employee benefits package that includes Health, Dental and Life insurance.
