Smurfit Westrock:
Responsible for the flow of orders and/or information from Project Coordinators to manufacturing; timely scheduling of the orders to meet customer requirements Provide leadership support in the Manufacturing Support Department, including Scheduling and Shipping/Receiving. Responsible for the Asitrades' daily schedule and the manufacturing weekly schedule (overtime, scheduled maintenance, etc.). Maintain and support multiple data bases - to clearly communicate production needs, status of orders and potential future scheduling needs Responsible for Rollstock inventory including tracking and decision making for ordering Complete Weekly Forecast Report Perform month-end closing and compile reports, as needed Update daily status of the schedule and production to the General Manager Handle all employee relations issues in accordance with Divisional and Corporate policies and procedures Evaluate employee performance and conduct performance reviews Facilitate needed/required training programs for the department Lead and participate in special projects, as needed Direct, maintain and enforce the safety program for the department; assure compliance with OSHA and Rock Tenn regulations and guidelines Other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: Bachelor's degree minimum plus five (5) years relevant industry experience. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or other related degree preferred 5 years of relevant industry experience Strong analytical ability / perspective / technical aptitude / discipline Excellent interpersonal skills, (analytical, verbal, written communication) at all levels of organization. Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence experience Must be a self-starter and completely self-directed.
