About this Position Act as Technical Director/Producer for various OSU Sporting events. Produce content for various Orange Power Studio (OPS) productions including ESPN+ shows, live events, highlight videos, promos, web content, and special projects. Aid in facilitating outside requests for various media outlets. Work with individual sports to provide and create content to aid with their video needs, planning and executing video shoots. Assist in teaching and supervising student workers in all aspects of video production. Maintain working knowledge of control room equipment and best practices. Required Qualifications High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Two years of experience in broadcast/control room setting for live events at the university or professional level. Knowledge:

Understanding of control room systems (Router, Switcher, Graphic Systems, servers, etc). Familiarity with a wide range of broadcast equipment. Demonstrated editing skills and experience using professional editing software. Demonstrated experience using Adobe Suite. In particular Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop. Able to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. Must possess the ability to manage a production crew, work with freelance personal, and work and teach production skills to student workers. Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays coinciding with OSU Athletic events throughout the year. Knowledge:

Sports broadcast-specific television production background. Experience producing in-stadium, ESPN+, and/or linear TV productions, technical directing, CG operation, replay operation, and script writing. Experience with posting digital media online.
