Full Time Summary:
Responsible for managing the scheduling and workflow of advertising and marketing communications projects for all MNGE casino properties. Creates effective advertising and marketing materials to support overall ad campaign and casino promotions.
Responsibilities:
1. Manages the direct marketing process with external and internal agencies. 2. Develops concepts and ideas for advertising and marketing materials and campaigns. Writes a wide variety of communications for print, TV, radio, newsletter, phone scripts and the Internet. Generates ideas with other members of the creative team. Works in both agency and corporate settings. 3. Edits, proofreads, fact-checks, and coordinates production of a variety of corporate and marketing communications materials. Ensures that communications are accurate, clear, and complete; correct in terms of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and editorial style; and that they maintain a consistent tone and voice. 4. Reviews marketing collateral, press articles produced by public relations, ad copy to detect errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax, and verifying facts. Rewrites or modifies copy to clarify meaning and to conform to corporate style guidelines and editorial policy. 5. Responsible for the scheduling and workflow of advertising and marketing communications projects among agency departments, clients, and vendors. Manages and revises timelines and routes layouts, copy, proofs, and other project elements for approval. 6. Writes copy and navigational links for websites; corporate intranets; email communications; and Web-based advertising and marketing campaigns. Adapts copy from offline sources for online use. Collaborates with Web Designers on blending copy with designs. Participates in search-engine-optimization projects. 7. Oversees the writing, editing, updating, and placement of content on websites and corporate intranets. Ensures that website content meets the requirements of business units and fulfills the needs of website users. 8. Oversees the production of advertising and marketing communications materials. Sets print production schedules. 9. Writing and editing projects as assigned by management. 10. Manages Production Coordinators and works closely with graphic designers, outside agencies, and outside production companies. 11. Assists Production Coordinators as needed with advertising project requests. 12. Stays informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation. 13. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Advertising/Marketing Communications
EXPERIENCE
2+ years casino or corporate experience in similar capacity. Class II or III casino experience preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MCN OPG
Gaming License is required Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements. Must have the ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required.
JOB DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, frequent ascent/descent from bus stairs, travel to various on/off site venues, which may involve elevation changes in surfaces. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files.
