Field producer needed for the 15-day shoot of CRACK, a feature-length psychological horror film for the Screamify streaming platform, October 5-19, 2026. The shoot is based in Lyle, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge, about 90 minutes east of Portland. Cast and crew work out of a single hub location. This is not a job on the film. You would be running the documentary unit that covers the making of it - a docu-follow of the production itself.

You own that content:

what gets covered, who gets interviewed, what the story actually is, and whether it holds together when someone cuts it.

What we are looking for:

- Network television docu-follow experience. TLC, Discovery, A&E and that world is exactly what we mean. Not corporate work, not event video, not a reel of b-roll. We want someone who has produced character-driven unscripted field content and can point to it by name.

- The judgment to walk onto a working film set and get what you need without becoming a problem. Knowing when not to roll matters as much as knowing when to.

- Real interview skills. You will be pulling honest moments out of cast and crew across a hard 15-day shoot, usually when they are tired and behind.

- Story instinct in the field. You are deciding in the moment what the thread is, not gathering footage and hoping it adds up later.

- Comfort running lean. This is a small unit, not a full documentary crew.

Preferred:

you come with people. If you have camera and audio operators you have worked with and trust, tell us who they are. We would rather bring in a unit that already knows how each other works than assemble one from scratch. You would be working alongside a behind-the-scenes videographer. You are not expected to shoot yourself, though it does not hurt. This is a paid freelance position for the full 15 days.
