We're looking for a versatile Senior Podcast Producer to help take our flagship true crime show to the next level.
What You'll DoResearch and vet true crime cases, sourcing credible facts and details for episodesBuild and maintain the show's content/episode calendarPitch new case ideas and story anglesManage production timelines to keep episodes on scheduleCoordinate recording sessions and pre-production logisticsAct as the main point of contact between producers, editors, and the hostManage communication with advertisers and sponsors, including scheduling ad readsSupport talent management, including host scheduling and prep materialsWrite and edit portions of episode scriptsFact-check scripts and source material before productionTake on other producer duties as needed (thumbnail/title input, analytics review, etc.)Support and train junior producers or freelance contributors as the show growsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of podcast production experience, ideally true crime, documentary, or narrative audio/videoStrong interest in true-crime mediaFamiliarity with the podcast industryStrong writing and storytelling skillsProven project management ability across multiple episodes and deadlinesComfortable managing advertiser, talent, and freelancer relationshipsFamiliar with tools like Google Workspace, Notion/Monday.com, Slack, Descript, or DaVinci ResolveStrong research and fact-checking skillsSelf-starter who works well independentlyAble to work a hybrid schedule based in Parker, CONice to HaveExperience with YouTube-first podcast productionBackground in journalism, criminal justice, or investigative researchExperience managing sponsor/advertiser relationships for media brands
