Schedule:
1st shift, Monday•Friday, OT as needed Prolink is seeking a Production Manager for a global manufacturing company that supplies leading appliance OEMs. This individual will lead production performance across a metal manufacturing operation. This is a hands on management position . We are seeking a leader who enjoys being directly involved in daily operations, supporting supervisors, solving production challenges, and building a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Requirements:
5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience Experience leading production teams of 100+ employees in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience managing through supervisors and holding teams accountable to safety, quality, productivity, and performance expectations Experience developing and leading Continuous Improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher Experience presenting operational performance , continuous improvement results, KPIs, and cost-savings initiatives to senior leadership and executive stakeholders Experience working within an
ISO 9001
Quality Management System; Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor, or related
ISO 9001
training preferred CAPM certification or demonstrated project management experience Spanish language proficiency preferred Experience collaborating with Engineering and Maintenance functions to improve manufacturing performance and reliability Experience with metal forming, powder coating, zinc plating, and/or projection welding processes Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications Bachelor's degree preferred Strong leadership, cross-functional communication, technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on role: Maintain a strong shop floor presence and support daily operational needs Lead production performance across a multi-shift manufacturing operation Oversee staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and productivity metrics Manage safety, quality, production output, labor utilization, scrap reduction, and department expenses Drive accountability through department supervisors and production teams Develop, implement, and sustain training programs for production employees Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts Own and sustain 5S, visual management, housekeeping, and workplace organization standards Partner with Material Management to align production schedules with customer demand requirements Ensure labor, materials, and resources are available Maintain inventory levels to support production schedules and customer demand Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Tool & Die teams Partner with Human Resources to maintain staffing levels and address employee concerns appropriately Why Join our team?
