What You'll Do:

Drive coverage that is urgent, relevant, visual, and focused on the issues that matter most to viewers across the Mid-South. Collaborate closely with newsroom managers, anchors, reporters, photographers, digital producers, and assignment editors to create seamless, multiplatform coverage. Help lead coverage of breaking news, severe weather, major investigations, and community-impact stories. Ensure every newscast reflects the highest standards of journalistic accuracy, fairness, and ethical reporting. Make sound editorial decisions under deadline pressure while balancing live, developing, and enterprise coverage. Use audience data, research, and competitive analysis to continuously improve our newscasts and digital performance. Foster a newsroom culture built on collaboration, innovation, accountability, and coaching.
What You'll Bring:
Five or more years of television news producing experience, with previous newsroom leadership or executive producer experience preferred. A proven track record of producing compelling, competitive newscasts in a fast-paced newsroom. Exceptional news judgment, strong writing skills, and a passion for impactful storytelling. The ability to lead calmly and confidently during breaking news and severe weather coverage. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Experience with ENPS or similar newsroom systems and a strong understanding of digital, streaming, and social media platforms.
