Ready Roofing & Solar is a small (~20 person), rapidly growing company, with an exciting 5-year growth plan (we'll tell you more about this in person, if we mutually see a possible fit). We hire and work only with "A-Players" as we have an enormous amount to achieve over the next five years. At our current size, this position handles project management/supervision as outlined below, but is also a bit of a "Jack of all trades" position presently. In addition to the project management/light repair duties, this position presently also assists in administrative tasks and customer service to ensure smooth operations. Individuals who want to only "stay in their lane" and not grow professionally or think outside the box, will find Ready is not a good fit for them. On the other hand, people looking to better themselves, who are willing to pitch in and do what's needed on a daily basis and are looking for enormous growth opportunities, could be a perfect fit here. This role is fast-moving by nature — on any given day you might be tracking five active jobs, three sub-contractor schedules, and a dozen customer commitments at once. The single most important trait for this position is the ability to juggle all of it without letting anything slip: every promise made to a customer or a sub gets tracked, followed up on, and closed out — nothing falls through the cracks. Ready is seeking someone with strong to exceptional experience and knowledge in roofing project management and repairs. The right individual need not necessarily be proficient in every area listed; the appropriate person who is generally proficient can be mentored and trained in those areas where further development is required.

Primary Project Manager/Supervisor duties include:

• Reads insurance scopes and customer contracts to understand Ready's full scope of work on a particular project
• Coordinates all trades on job (e.g. roof replacement, gutters, painting, etc.) and schedules work with subcontractors; follows up and holds subs accountable to quality work and timelines agreed upon
• Orders materials for re-roof and repair jobs through our job management system/CRM (Roof.

• Manages installs, checking on crews' performance and that the install is going well and according to Ready's high standards throughout project
• Picks up necessary materials as they are needed day of install that were not brought on initial delivery
• Takes photos of jobs sites as necessary - before, during, after work is performed
• Ensures leftover materials are prepared and picked up from installs
• Reviews subcontractor invoices weekly for accuracy and approves for payment
• Acts as the communicator between the customer, subs, and the company, communicating schedules when various trades (e.g. roof, gutters, etc.) will occur
• Manages multiple jobs simultaneously at various stages (quoted, scheduled, in-progress, closing out) and keeps every one moving without letting details get lost between them
• Keeps a reliable personal tracking system (CRM, calendar, task list, or similar) so that every commitment — to a customer, a sub, or a teammate — is written down, followed up on, and confirmed complete, not just remembered Roof Repairs Supervisor duties include:
• Evaluates roofs for minor repairs when needed, quotes customer using company guidelines, and makes repairs him/herself, upon approval, or assigns to a sub to make repairs, as appropriate
• Conducts thorough inspections of roofs to assess the extent of damage and determine the best course of action for repairs; documents findings for company/customers
• Provides detailed repair recommendations to customers, ensuring clarity and transparency regarding the scope of work and associated costs
• Maintains accurate records of all repair activities, including materials used and any issues encountered during the repair process, and documenting with photos
• Provides exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to repair work

Requirements:

• Proficiency in roofing job management system/CRM software
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities at once without losing track of details — this is a must, not a nice-to-have
• A dependable, "closes the loop" work style: if you say you'll do it, it gets done, and if it can't get done on time, you flag it before it becomes a problem — not after
• Great, proactive communicator, both written and verbal. Possesses an excellent command of the English language.
• "People person" - personable and engaging with others, both internally and outside the company
• Willing to be an active listener and take direction
• Follows up regularly and proactively on every task, commitment, and open item — nothing gets forgotten or left hanging, whether it's an internal task or a promise made to a customer
• Takes the initiative and thrives on "figuring it out;" likes operating without having to always be "told what to do"
• Consistently works with a strong sense of urgency - has a strong "get it done" mentality
• Highly deadline-oriented
• Must be able to multitask all day, every day across multiple active projects without dropping details
• Exceptionally organized, with systems (not just memory) for tracking what's owed to whom and by when
• Honest
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
