Applicant will work in collaboration with the pastoral staff, music ministry for all aspects of media ministry. Including live streaming, video production, social media and graphic design. This media professional will assist in building and training media teams, manage content and collaborate with pastoral staff, music ministry. volunteers and church staff. This dynamic media professional will be responsible for working both Sunday services ( 1 church, two locations) including weekly choir practices and special events. Lead and executing all technical aspects of the media ministry, including audio, video and lighting. This position will be involved in administrative tasks as well as technical and creative tasks for First Baptist Church of South Richmond. The Media Coordinator will work collaboratively with the pastoral staff, Minister of Music musicians which includes handling content for various platforms to enhance worship services, church events, and community engagement. Ensure that the church's message is effectively communicated through visual and digital media. Responsibilities Development and implement the comprehensive media strategies that align with organizational goals. Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and traditional media. Manage relationships with external media partners and vendors to ensure effective collaboration. Analyze media performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve overall effectiveness. Assist with supervision, guidance, training and support in flawless project execution of worship and services & programs. Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with organizational goals. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of media innovation. Collaborate with the pastoral staff, musicians and ministry teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels. • Key Responsibilities Previous experience in media production, graphic design, or related field. The ability to troubleshoot problems in a timely manner while remaining professional. Create weekly written equipment and staff performance update along with regular equipment audits, team meetings and feedback along with providing solutions. Create standard operating procedures (SOP) for equipment and services to ensure consistency and uniformity for all services and programs. Previous successful Church media experience is preferred. Proficiency in Pro-Presenter software, experience with using videography knowledge and experience within house and livestreams. Strong audio/visual equipment and software. Mastery knowledge of video production for live and virtual events. Exceptional interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence. Solid leadership skills and experience to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Previous successful experience working in a church environment. The ability to adapt creative concepts and production schedules to meet deadlines and fulfill overall project objectives. Successful experience with content-handling, filter all multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and other digital materials into our live streams for use in services and events. Create lower thirds for worship services, input necessary graphics into pro presenter for display during worship. Audio/Visual Management Collaboration with pastors, worship leaders, ministry teams, volunteers and church staff to understand their media needs and provide support, guidance & solutions. Assist with the recruiting, training and retaining media team (including professional staff and volunteers) regularly. Create training guides and standard operation policies and procedures to ensure high quality and consistency. Collaborate and partner with our internet and technical providers to ensure premium technical ability for all services and programs without interruptions. Network with other religious organizations and professional to learn and assist in the implementation of cutting edge technology and procedures to ensure flawless execution. S upervisory
Responsibilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong conflict resolution Exceptional interpersonal, customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, understanding copyright, licensing. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. Ability to work independently and collective as a contributing team member.
