san bernardino, california Posted 7/21/2026 Closes 10/1/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $20.67 per hour Temporary Various Shifts Available Industry administrative & support services (Office and Administrative Support Occupations) Reference number S_178294 Are you an experienced, bilingual administrative professional who is looking for temporary work with a reputable government agency in the San Bernardino area? If so, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for! This position is expected to begin 8/24/26 and last for approximately 30-90 days. All staff is required to have an open schedule.Responsibilities:
Examples of Duties include but are not limited to:- Proof election materials for accuracy including; letter to letter comparison, formatting and punctuation
- Verify that election selection codes accurately display the correct ballot
- Verify that all bitmaps and short names are displayed properly
- Verify that audio is recorded correctly
- Perform ballot tabulation logic testing to ensure ballot counting machines are tallying correctly (internally & for the public) including: checking in, marking, and testing ballots through ballot counting machine, assist in gathering results from tally server, filling out related paperwork
- Type-setting and proofing all election material
- Update workflow database
- Maintain filing system for Voter Information Guide documents ...

- Ability to follow direction and work independently with some direction

- Ability to multitask
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work long hours
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- Knowledge of proper English and Spanish usage, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation in oral and written communication
- Ability to understand, interpret, and translate oral and written information in English and Spanish
