Job Description

Our teams are driven, collaborative, and committed to delivering results. We are seeking a motivated Legal Media Clerk to join our Plano, TX-based team. Position Summary The Media Clerk is responsible for downloading and entering support documentation throughout the legal operations process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Review and download/enter support documentation. Analyze and process account documents provided by the firm's clients Review documents, determine if the document is needed for suit filing, and save/re-name files as appropriate. Redact documents as required Obtain additional documentation from clients as needed to complete suit filing All other duties assigned by management Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) At least one year administrative or clerical experience where use of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point was required Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet research Ability to effectively analyze and creatively solve problems Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast paced environment Ability to work individually and as part of a coordinated team Organized, detail oriented, and deadline driven Effective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies Benefits Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and company paid life insurance on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. 401(k) with employer match Please visit our website, www.spalaw.com ,for more information on our Firm.
