We're a small, vibrant music academy located in the heart of downtown Plano, TX. At Torres Music Academy, we inspire students of all ages to find their voice and passion through music. We offer lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and ukulele, with a commitment to providing personalized instruction in a fun and welcoming environment. We're seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Piano Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate loves teaching and has a knack for connecting with students of all ages and skill levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for a musician looking to inspire the next generation of pianists while working in a supportive and creative atmosphere. If you also have experience teaching guitar , there are opportunities for additional students and lessons. However, this is not a requirement for the position.Responsibilities:
Must be able to teach music notation. Teach private piano lessons to students ranging from beginners to advanced levels. Create personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student goals and learning styles. Foster a positive and motivating learning environment. Communicate progress and feedback to students and their families. Maintain a professional, friendly, and punctual demeanor.Qualifications:
Must be able to read music. Strong proficiency in piano and music theory. Teaching experience preferred, but not required—training can be provided. Patience, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work with both children and adults. Availability for afternoon, evening, and/or weekend lessons.Bonus:
