Shipping Specialist ScyTek Laboratories, Inc is looking for a full-time shipping clerk in our busy chemical blending facility. We manufacture a variety of reagents for the Pathology and Histology markets, including immunohistochemistry, routine and special stains, buffers, diluents, as well as contract reagent manufacturing.

Duties Include:

Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers. Prepare proper documentation for shipments (e.g. C of

A, MSDS, C

of C, etc.) Determine method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, time of shipment, and work order. Ship items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items. Use of several computer programs routinely (Access, Excel, Word, FedEx, UPS. DHL, etc.). Following detailed procedures. Helping with other projects as needed. Keeping work area clean and hazard-free. Document items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information. Willing to become certified for Haz-Mat shipping.

Job Requirements Include:

High School Diploma. Excellent time management skills. Enthusiastic, Self-Starter. Ability to work alone, or in groups as needed. Basic computer skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to take instructions and work well with others. Pleasant and positive demeanor. Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs without difficulty.

Additional Information:

Previous experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person. Hours are 7:00A.M.-11:00A.M. Position is Part-Time.

Compensation:

$15.00 per hour.
