The 2025 Northwoods League Organization of the Year, Green Bay Rockers , are searching for the next Rockstar ! The 2023 and 2025 Northwoods League Champions play their home games at Capital Credit Union Park , located just one mile from historic Lambeau Field. This internship provides college students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports broadcasting, media relations, communications, digital content, and baseball operations . Capital Credit Union Park opened on May 31, 2019, and hosts more than 400 events each year . The facility's artificial turf allows for multiple events to take place throughout the year, while the TDS Club , an indoor event space overlooking the field, provides a unique venue for year-round events. In addition to operating Capital Credit Union Park, the organization oversee food and beverage operations at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, St. Norbert College, Cornerstone Community Ice Center, and Impact Sports Academy . Position Overview The Green Bay Rockers are seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and creative college student to join our front office as a Media Relations & Broadcasting Intern . This position will be heavily involved in the team's day-to-day media relations and communications efforts while also serving as a TV broadcaster and Radio Broadcaster for home games and select road games . The intern will travel with the team for approximately 18 away games and gain firsthand experience in the fast-paced environment of professional summer collegiate baseball. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Write and distribute press releases promoting team initiatives, player accomplishments, and special events Write daily pre-game stories and post-game recaps for the team website Serve as a TV broadcaster for approximately 36 Northwoods League games on FloSports, including pre-game and post-game shows Radio broadcast 18 road games while traveling with the team Coordinate and maintain the press box and broadcast booth Compile daily statistical information and stat packs for position players and pitchers Coordinate media requests and interviews involving players, coaches, and team personnel Work closely with the Field Manager and front office to ensure player contracts and Northwoods League requirements are completed Coordinate aspects of team travel, including communication with hotels, restaurants, opposing teams, and other partners Lead production of the team's digital game-day program Write player biographies and update statistics throughout the season Assist with in-house video production and digital content Produce radio commercials for the Green Bay Rockers and business partners Work closely with the General Manager and Director of Corporate Advertising to coordinate sponsor and promotional live reads during games Assist with team laundry, meals, and other baseball operations when needed Assist with additional front-office and game-day responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager What You'll Learn This internship is designed to provide real-world experience that can help prepare you for a career in sports media and professional sports .

Game & Event Commitment Because this is a hands-on sports internship, candidates should be prepared to make a significant commitment during the summer. Interns will be expected to work a minimum of: 36 home Green Bay Rockers games 18 away Green Bay Rockers games 5-10 additional events at Capital Credit Union Park Schedules will vary based on the team's game and event calendar.

Internship Program Internship Dates:

May 10 - August 15, 2027 The Green Bay Rockers internship program is designed to combine hands-on professional experience with career development.

Housing:
