Job Description

Break Away Media is hiring a DC-based freelancer to ask members of Congress questions on camera in the House and Senate office buildings.
The work:
we send you 2 to 4 questions on a live story. You go to the Hill, catch senators and representatives in the hallways, ask the questions, get clean audio and a steady vertical shot, and send us the raw files the same day.
You need:
to live in the DC area, your own camera or a recent iPhone with a lav or shotgun mic, comfort walking up to a sitting member of Congress and staying polite when the answer is no. Prior Hill footage is a big plus.
Pay:
300 dollars per shoot day, paid within a week. Expect 2 to 6 days a month to start, more if it works.
