Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Multimedia Reporter to join our vibrant news team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering compelling stories across multiple platforms, including television, digital, and social media. Your creativity and journalistic expertise will help inform and engage our diverse audience through innovative storytelling, high-quality video content, and engaging written reports. Duties Produce engaging news stories using journalistic writing, research, and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and clarity. Capture high-quality footage through news broadcast videography and photography to complement written content. Edit video content utilizing broadcast editing and video editing software to create polished news segments. Write clear, concise articles and social media posts following AP style guidelines to maximize reach and engagement. Manage social media platforms by creating compelling social media content, communicating with followers, and increasing audience interaction. Conduct interviews and research to gather information for stories, ensuring comprehensive coverage of news events. Proofread and copyedit all content for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to journalistic standards before publication or broadcast. Experience Proven experience in digital journalism, broadcast journalism, or multimedia reporting with a strong portfolio of published work. Proficiency in video production, videography, video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro), and photography. Familiarity with social media management tools and platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn. Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives across different formats—written articles, videos, or social media posts. Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual settings (preferred) to connect with diverse audiences effectively. Knowledge of AP style for writing and editing journalistic content is essential. Experience in television broadcast editing and content editing is highly desirable.
