Write clear, concise, and engaging news scripts for broadcast and digital platforms. Conduct interviews with subjects to gather relevant information for news reports. Edit video footage to create compelling news packages that enhance storytelling. Proofread and copy edit all written content to ensure accuracy and adherence to style guidelines. Manage social media accounts by posting updates and engaging with the audience to promote news stories. Collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of news segments. Stay informed about local, national, and international events to identify potential story ideas. Skills Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various media platforms.
