Job Description

Staff writer The Daily News, an award-winning newspaper in Jacksonville, N.C., is seeking a talented, inquisitive and detail-oriented staff writer. Journalism degree and one to two years of experience preferred but will consider someone with related degree and experience. Join a newsroom that celebrates community journalism and writing stories that matter to our readers. Knowledge of Associated Press style and the ability to write news and feature stories are essential to the position. Experience with photography a plus. The right candidate may have the ability to grow with the company.
