The Gazette News Group is seeking a passionate and skilled news reporter to cover Greene County for the Daily Mail and HudsonValley360.com. What you will do:

Identify and report on trends and breaking news in the region Cover county board politics and their effects on the community Produce impactful investigative, explanatory, and feature stories on government accountability, economic development and other topics of interest Create diverse content including photos, videos, web updates, and in-depth print articles Collaborate effectively with reporters, photographers, and editors What you will bring: Strong news judgment, collaborative approach and sense of urgency A passion for in-depth reporting and storytelling Proficiency in various content creation formats A college degree and at least two years of daily journalism experience (preferred) A strong understanding of digital media and its role in journalism Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Who we are: The Gazette News Group is an award-winning news organization reaching a growing audience across multiple platforms, including six daily newspapers, seven weeklies and ten websites.
