Job Title:
On-Camera News & Employment Reporter Location:
Atlanta, GA (In-Person)
Compensation:
$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Position Type:
Part-Time / Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, professional, and engaging On-Camera News & Employment Reporter to serve as the face of our local broadcast program in the greater Atlanta area . In this role, you will bridge the gap between local talent and top-tier employers, conducting high-profile interviews and highlighting workforce opportunities across the region. The ideal candidate possesses excellent journalistic instincts, a commanding screen presence, and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities On-Air Reporting & Interviews:
Host segments and conduct professional, engaging interviews with featured employer guests, corporate executives, and community leaders.
Content Collaboration:
Partner closely with creative directors, producers, and writers to develop compelling story concepts, review storyboards, and map out production schedules.
Research & Preparation:
Review guest profiles, industry trends, and company background information to formulate insightful, hard-hitting interview questions.
On-Location Professionalism:
Maintain a high level of vocal clarity, pacing, and professional on-camera appearance suitable for local news broadcasting. Qualifications & Skills Technical Production (Bonus): Hands-on experience or familiarity with camera operation, professional broadcast equipment, and studio audio systems.
Lighting & Rigging:
Practical knowledge of studio lighting setups and theatrical rigging to assist the crew and ensure optimal visual quality.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal communication, active listening skills, and the ability to think fast during unscripted live or recorded segments.
Location:
