What they do

A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Looking for organized and reliable set dresser to work at an established studio producing recreations for true crime docs that include In house and on location filming.
Qualifications as follows:
Handy with tools: Know how to use basic hand and power tools to assemble furniture or mount items as needed. Be able to manage in-house and rented furniture and set dressing.
Basic design sense:
Understand interior decoration, time periods, and how background elements tell a story.
Teamwork and communication:
Follow instructions from the set decorator and have no need to be micromanaged. Attention to detail is a must.
BE ABLE TO FOLLOW DIRECTION IS A MUST.
