The gallery will be open Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging visitors with contemporary art, leading a small team, and keeping an exhibition running smoothly. As the curators' onsite representative, you'll help create a welcoming, informed, and professional gallery experience. Responsibilities Oversee the exhibition's daily operations, including opening and closing the gallery. Supervise interns, coordinate their daily responsibilities, and provide guidance. Serve as the curators' onsite representative and primary point of contact. Speak confidently and knowledgeably about the artist, artworks, and exhibition. Welcome visitors, answer questions, and facilitate thoughtful conversations about the work. Monitor the gallery and artworks, communicating any issues or needs to the curators.
• Qualifications Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. A dependable, proactive approach and comfort working independently. Experience in galleries, museums, exhibitions, or arts events. A background in art history or curation is a plus. Availability throughout the exhibition's run, Wednesday-Sunday.

Pay:
$30.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week Application Question(s): Experience running an art exhibition, gallery show, or sales floor.
