A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Job Description

Prohibition Films is looking for an experienced G&E / Grip & Electric crew member for a one-day branded video shoot for a law firm in the Palm Beach County, FL area on Tuesday, August 25. This is a polished, cinematic brand piece with a small, nimble crew. We'll be filming primarily in an office/location environment, including interviews and naturalistic scenes of the attorneys working with clients and one another. We're looking for someone comfortable working closely with the DP and handling both grip and electric/lighting responsibilities, including lighting setup and adjustments, power, stands, modifiers, rigging, setup changes, and general G&E needs throughout the day. This is not a large commercial lighting package, so we especially value someone versatile, proactive, efficient, and experienced working on smaller commercial and branded crews.

Ideal candidates should have:

Strong hands-on G&E / Grip & Electric experience
Experience with commercial, branded, documentary, or corporate production
Ability to work efficiently and independently on a small crew
Professional, client-facing set demeanor
Local availability in Palm Beach County / South Florida Please send a brief note with your experience and relevant credits or reel/website if available.
