A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Kenowa Hills High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Costumer for our 2026 Fall Play production. The Director will be responsible for all costumes for the production while fostering a positive, inclusive, and educational environment for students.Responsibilities include:
Designing all costumes needed for the show based on the needs of the Director. Providing the Director with costume renderings or detailed descriptions of costume designs for approval. Providing information to Producer for renting or purchasing costumes. Coordinating costume volunteers. Overseeing measuring and fitting cast. Purchasing all materials need to build costumes. Distributing all necessary materials to volunteers. Purchasing all necessary costume items and/or delegates purchasing to volunteers. Answering all questions from volunteers. Building any costumes that cannot be done by volunteers. To be paid by the costume for building more than 4 full costumes. Coordinating all final fittings, changes and repairs. Attending all Dress Rehearsals. Coordinating with technical crew, parent volunteers, and staff. Managing costume budget and resources. Ensuring a safe, supportive, and educational experience for all participants.Qualifications:
Prior costuming experience required (school or community level). Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Flexibility for evening and weekend rehearsals/performances. Teaching certificate or prior school-based experience preferred, but not required.Stipend:
Per the district's extracurricular contract.Additional Requirements:
