Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Spring Haven Farm Type:
Full-Time 9 am to 6 pm Wednesday through Sunday (Weekends are required!) Are you a creative visionary with a knack for business? Spring Haven Farm is looking for an enthusiastic Arts Coordinator to transform our craft and gem mining area into a premier destination for creativity and fun. We need someone who can balance the "magic" of crafting with the "logic" of management. Key Responsibilities As our Arts Coordinator , you will be the primary architect of the guest's creative experience. Your role covers everything from hands-on instruction to behind-the-scenes logistics.
Sales & Area Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the craft and gem mining stations. Ensure the area is welcoming, clean, and efficiently run to provide a top-tier guest experience.
Strategic Growth:
Build the craft department into a profitable, sustainable pillar of the farm.
This includes:
Designing unique, farm-themed crafts that appeal to all ages. Developing and leading instructional classes (e.g., craft making, paint and sip, or seasonal DIYs).
Financial & Inventory Oversight:
Manage a dedicated budget for all materials. You will be responsible for sourcing supplies, tracking inventory levels for gem mining and crafts, and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Marketing (Plus): If you have a flair for social media, you'll help us showcase our creative offerings through engaging content to drive attendance and interest.
Qualifications Creative Entrepreneurship:
A proven ability to design engaging projects that people actually want to buy and make.
Operational Skills:
Experience in retail or area management, including handling sales and customer service.
Organization:
Budgeting, ordering materials, and maintaining an organized workspace.
Communication:
Comfortable leading groups and teaching classes in a high-energy farm environment.
