A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BIM / Reality Capture Coordinator to lead the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and reality capture technologies across our projects. In this role, you will coordinate the collection, processing, and management of 3D spatial data, ensuring accurate digital representations of physical environments. Your expertise will drive seamless collaboration between design, engineering, and construction teams, enhancing project efficiency and building performance. Recommended target profile:
Approximately 4-8 years of relevant BIM, CAD, surveying, or reality-capture production. At least 3 years of meaningful Revit use. Demonstrated point-cloud-to-model or point-cloud-to-linework experience. Experience producing issued drawings or models, not only visualizations. Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks. ReCap experience. MicroStation/TopoDOT experience preferred. Portfolio showing source data, finished deliverables, and QA methodology. Degree or technical diploma in a related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Minimum job requirements:
Advanced Revit modeling and documentation proficiency. Advanced AutoCAD proficiency. Demonstrated experience creating models or drawings from laser-scan point clouds. Strong understanding of coordinate systems, units, survey control, and geospatial alignment. Navisworks model federation and clash-review experience. Ability to produce and check plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and model exports. Ability to create and modify Revit families and parameters. Model-health and QA/QC experience. Ability to work independently from written scopes and client standards. Strong documentation and communication skills. Portfolio demonstrating scan-to-BIM or scan-to-CAD work.
