A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

(hours vary per day) Must be available for both setup and breakdown We are an event firm based in Southern New Jersey, we travel and create visual sets and displays for a variety of events. We are looking for local support staff to help produce the set and bring a theme to life. This is a great opportunity to earn extra income, learn, experience new locations in a fun environment, and meet new people. Specific tasks for this include loading and unloading and decor and centerpiece setting up. There will be a team of about 4-6. We are not moving tables and chairs. Previous event, theater, banquet, arts, floral, theatre set design experience is useful but not necessary. Everyone is assigned different areas dependent on your comfort level/skill set.
