What they do
A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Job Description
Daily Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lead man to review detailed prints and see projects through to completion. Construct exhibits and exhibit components according to fit and finish standards. Read and interpret construction drawings. Proficient in laminating. Safely operate various woodworking power tools. Perform additional duties as needed. Low voltage electrical skills are a plus.Requirements:
High School diploma. Minimum of 5 years of experience in exhibit production or cabinet making. Proficiency in construction and cabinetry skills, as well as the use of hand and power tools. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being accountable for individual performance. Capable of working under tight deadlines with a commitment to high-quality standards.Employment Type:
