Position Overview The Senior Trial Technician serves as a key resource for attorneys and litigation teams, providing expert support throughout the litigation lifecycle. This position is responsible for trial graphics, video production, exhibit preparation, courtroom technology setup, and live trial presentation support. Key Responsibilities Trial Presentation & Courtroom Support Prepare, organize, and present exhibits during trials, mediations, arbitrations, and focus groups. Set up, operate, and troubleshoot courtroom audiovisual and presentation equipment. Provide on-site technical support during trial proceedings and client presentations. Manage presentation databases, trial notebooks, and exhibit distribution. Video Production & Exhibit Development Record and edit depositions, witness preparation sessions, settlement presentations, and trial videos. Produce and edit green screen and multimedia presentations. Create, enhance, and manage trial exhibits, including graphics, animations, videos, and presentation slides. Scan, process, and digitize photographs, documents, medical imaging, and large-format exhibits. Client Partnership & Project Management Collaborate with attorneys and litigation teams to develop compelling visual presentations. Translate complex case information into clear and persuasive demonstrative evidence. Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy. Serve as a trusted advisor on trial technology and presentation best practices. Leadership & Mentorship Provide guidance and mentorship to junior trial technicians. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in trial technology, litigation support, videography, audiovisual production, or exhibit creation. Experience filming, editing, and producing professional video content. Proficiency with presentation software, graphics editing tools, and video production platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills with courtroom and AV equipment. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in fast-paced environments. Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% for trials and client engagements. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as trial schedules require.
