Trade Show Operations Technician

Job Description

Position Summary As a Trade Show Operations Technician, you will play a key role in preparing, transporting, installing, and dismantling trade show exhibits at convention centers and event venues across the United States. This position combines warehouse operations with nationwide travel and requires individuals who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Prepare exhibit materials, graphics, and equipment for upcoming events. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Travel to trade shows and convention centers throughout the United States. Install and dismantle trade show exhibits according to project drawings and schedules. Assemble modular exhibit systems, custom displays, lighting, graphics, flooring, and accessories. Operate hand and power tools safely. Perform basic repairs and maintenance on exhibit components. Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and equipment. Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and client expectations. Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients, vendors, and show management. Follow all company safety policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to travel frequently, including evenings and weekends. Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working on ladders and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience in trade show installation, exhibit construction, event production, carpentry, warehouse operations, or construction. Forklift certification or experience (preferred but not required).
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
