Music Adjunct Instructor
- Live Sound and Audio Technician (TEMPORARY) Diablo Valley College is seeking an adjunct faculty member in Live Sound and Audio Technician to teach courses in live sound reinforcement, audio systems, and performance mixing.

- Describe the principles of a live sound system including signal flow, microphones, signal processing, and monitoring.

- Discuss the principles of room acoustics and how sound interacts with various room environments.
- Perform and mix live performances in a variety of genres.

Newly hired employees may notify the respective union (Local 1 or United Faculty) if they opt to join and/or authorize payment to the union. If the newly hired employee authorizes payment to the union then the following fees apply: Local 1 has a one-time initiation fee of $45.00 and monthly contribution of 1% of gross pay +$1.
