Crew Location:
Los Angeles, CA; Ventura, CA Apply Save Job From Brazil. CBP (Certificado de Produto Brasileiro) from Ancine. Responsible for recording clean, consistent production audio throughout the documentary, including interviews and location footage. Set up and operate the field mixer/recorder, boom microphone, wireless lavaliers, and related sound equipment. Monitor dialogue for unwanted noise, interference, and technical issues, and coordinate with the director and DP regarding microphone placement and framing. Record room tone, ambient sound, and other necessary location audio. Maintain organized audio files and sound reports for post-production. Manage batteries, media, cables, microphones, and wireless systems throughout each shooting day, and communicate immediately when additional takes or audio recordings are needed.
