Exit88 is seeking an experienced A2 responsible for the field audio setup, connections, routing, testing, and ongoing management of the live production. The A2 will deploy and manage the Left-Center-Right microphone array used to capture the width, depth, impact, and spatial movement of the live performances. Responsibilities also include field-level cabling, XLR tie-line connections, signal routing back to the broadcast booth, integration of applicable house audio feeds, line checks, troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable field audio throughout the event. The A2 will work closely with the A1 and Broadcast Director and remain on production comms throughout the show. Candidates should be comfortable with field microphone placement, long cable runs, audio tie lines, signal flow, live music dynamics, and troubleshooting in a fast-moving live-event environment. Daily flat rate of $250-$300 based on role, experience, and production responsibilities. Final rate will be confirmed prior to booking. Any additional rehearsal, setup, or pre-production requirements will be discussed separately.
