Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Podcast Engineer to join our creative team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind the technical side of our podcast productions, ensuring each episode is recorded professionally . Your expertise will help elevate our content through expert sound design, video set up and recorded audio production. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative media projects and contribute to compelling storytelling across digital platforms. Duties Operate and manage recording studio equipment, including audio interfaces, microphones, mixers, and digital audio workstations Record high-quality audio and video for podcasts, live sessions, and post-production projects while troubleshooting technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with hosts, producers, and content creators to plan recording sessions and ensure technical requirements are met for both live events and pre-recorded episodes. Manage sound reinforcement systems during live podcast recordings or events, ensuring clear audio delivery for remote or in-studio audiences. Assist with videography and video editing tasks related to podcast content creation, including filming episodes or promotional videos. Maintain all audio and video equipment, perform routine maintenance, and implement upgrades to support high-quality production standards. Skills Proficiency in digital audio workstation (DAW) software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid for editing. Extensive experience operating recording studio equipment including microphones, audio interfaces, sound mixing consoles, and live sound engineering systems. Strong knowledge of sound design principles, signal processing techniques, and audio systems operation for both studio and live environments. Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues related to audio equipment and digital systems quickly and effectively. Ability to perform video production tasks such as filming and editing content for multimedia podcasts. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams while maintaining a focus on technical quality.
