About the Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on laboratory engineer or technician to support development and testing of ultrasound technology for pre-clinical and human clinical use. Wellness programs What You'll Do Set-up of ultrasound testing environment, including electronics and mapping tanks. Collecting and automating collection of ultrasound field mapping data. Setting up and collecting images of ultrasound pressure fields. Fixturing ultrasound transducers for lab and pre-clinical use. Testing and documentation in support of regulatory submissions. Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in ultrasound engineering Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered. All qualifications must be met by the time of employment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Expertise in the use of ultrasound lab equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, amplifiers, ultrasound transducers, and hydrophones. Demonstrated ability to work in an ultrasound lab either in academic, military or medical environments. Interfaces with PCs. Familiar with LabView, MatLab, K-wave, 3-D Slicer, Schlieren imaging, SolidWorks and similar preferred. Ability to do basic fixture and other mechanical design a plus. Comfortable using Microsoft office suite. Resourceful, hands-on and self-motivated. Excellent communications skills. Detail oriented. Excellent team player.
